Pick yourself up, dust yourself off...

... and start all over again.

Remember the vets bills I thought were all done? They weren't.

Running total:

£100.36

New Monthly Target: £223.77

  1. Ouch.

At least you had the cash to pay the bill, that's a pretty huge thing. There will always be setbacks and looking on the very bright side you may not end up with £2014 but that doesn't mean you won't have earned/saved that throughout the year, you just needed to use some.

  2. Absolutely - it's been a very difficult time but it's been good to be able to tell the vet to do whatever was necessary without stressing.

  3. Sucks :(

But pleased the money you'd put aside meant you didn't have to worry about costs.

I agree with thrift deluxe - I know I won't physically have £2014 by the end of the year as it's all going towards the credit cards. Doesn't mean I won't have worked bl00dy hard in accumulating it though! Sx

  4. I would like to add my support to you over this; you had saved a huge amount of money and therefore did not have to worry about whether you could afford the vet's bills. If you continue the way you were, you will soon have the money recovered, and I agree with everyone above, you should still count the money you saved - even if you have had to spend it before the end of the year. I am just under half way to achieving the challenge, but am out of inspiration so any suggestions gratefully received!!
